Coordinator applications are now open for 2026.

This position is a leadership role within ANIMAINE. Expectations will include, 

  • Working with Head of Convention to get an appropriate amount of staff. 

  • Building a shift schedule for your department to appropriately staff your department.

  • Working with the Board of ANIMAINE to build a plan for your department.

  • Being a resource for your staff and attendees when questions or incidents arise.

  • Promoting your department with the help of the social media team by drafting up 1 social media post per month. 

  • Meeting once a quarter to discuss plans for the convention with other coordinators and the Head of Convention. 

  • (If applicable) Create and run events that align with your department efficiently. 

Staff applications will open for 2026 in April.

Volunteering to help at ANIMAINE is an easy way to give back to the community and participate in the planning, operations, and shenanigans of the event! In order to participate as volunteer staff you must be at least 18 years or older at the time of ANIMAINE

Benefits include access to a staff only green room with snacks and drinks provided, a free badge to ANIMAINE, a free ANIMAINE t-shirt. The choice to stay the weekend in a staff room (shared with up to 3 other staffers) is available to those who qualify. Please see application for more details.
